About Jono
About Jono
Born and raised on cattle properties in Far North Queensland, Jono has grown up working with horses and developed a passion for campdrafting at a young age. After he finished school he worked on the family properties, ran mustering camps in the NT, worked as a farrier for 10 years, travelled many kilometres as a livestock agent and in recent years became a certified Emmett Practitioner for Horses and Humans.
His passion for horses, working with them in different settings – breeding, breaking, training, retraining, mustering and farriering – which have shaped him as a horseman and his compassion for his clients to help them become the best version of themselves, makes him an one-of-a-kind therapist.
Jono will come to you offering services across The Tablelands, Charters Towers, Toowoomba, the Hunter Region, and Tamworth. His work combines traditional horsemanship techniques with innovative approaches like Emmett Therapy, a gentle method designed to support mobility, comfort, and overall wellbeing.

New Age Of Horsemanship
NEW AGE OF HORSEMANSHIP®
Jono’s unique talent to combine his horsemanship skills, his ability to read and assess horse and rider and being able to treat any insufficiencies by using muscle release therapy techniques, have shaped the philosophy of New Age of Horsemanship®.
New Age of Horsemanship® is understanding body and mind of horse and rider, how they are connected, visual assessment of both, treating insufficiencies and maintaining health to improve overall well-being and performance of both.
Jono’s strength and unique skill to combine horsemanship with therapy techniques, such as soft-touch muscle manipulation, red light and chiropractic moves, allow him to achieve the best result possible for both, horse and human.
